At the heart of the H200 is a fully balanced, discrete component PLFC+ (Precision Linear Feedback Circuit) architecture. This state-of-the-art circuitry ensures absolute signal integrity, extremely low distortion, and an expansive soundstage. With an ultra-low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD+N) of just 0.00007% and an outstanding Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) up to 131dB, the H200 resolves the finest micro-dynamics of your music.

Custom High-Power Linear Power Supply & Anti-Pop Design

To provide a clean and stable power foundation, the H200 integrates a custom-designed, high-power linear power supply. In balanced mode, it generates up to 5W x 2 @ 32Ω of output power, easily driving demanding high-impedance headphones. Additionally, the mute circuit utilizes high-quality relays to implement a pop-free design, preventing annoying impact noises during startup, shutdown, or input switching.

Precision Relay Volume Control (Zero Imbalance)

To eliminate the left/right channel volume imbalance common in traditional analog volume knobs, S.M.S.L has implemented a high-precision electronic relay volume control system. This architecture guarantees perfect channel matching at any volume level while fully supporting remote-controlled adjustments for optimal ease of use.

Three-Stage Gain Control & Dedicated IEM Optimization

Equipped with low, medium, and high gain settings, the H200 adapts effortlessly to your collection. The low gain level (attenuated down to -3.5dB on balanced and -9.5dB on unbalanced) is specifically optimized for ultra-sensitive In-Ear Monitors (IEMs), ensuring a background completely free of audible noise or hiss. Conversely, the high gain setting (+19.7dB balanced) provides the raw voltage swings needed for power-hungry full-size planar magnetic headphones.

Hi-End Pre-Amplifier with Balanced XLR Outputs

Beyond its duties as a headphone amplifier, the H200 serves as a high-end pre-amplifier. With dedicated rear XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced inputs/outputs, you can easily control active monitors or external power amplifiers. Output modes can be switched seamlessly via the included full-function remote control or the front panel.
